Gee Transport Ltd is a family run business, so when it comes to Corporate Social Responsibility, it is important we ensure that our sense of community is instilled into our workforce.

Our approach to CSR covers three main areas, our employees, our community and the environment; linking closely with our business objectives.

We recognise the loyalty, talent and ambitions of our employees, which is why we ensure that we invest back into our people with regular training, and career progression. We understand that the well being of our employees is important, which is why we operate a mental health and well-being programme, encouraging well deserved rest bite and self care. Productivity comes from a positive mindset and this is what we promote throughout our workforce.

As an organisation Gee Transport has a responsibility to the environment, and we ensure that this plays a significant part within our business objectives. Within our environmental management system we focus on regularly reducing our impact on the environment, through recycling, fleet efficiency and promoting an energy efficient workplace. It is our aim to continuously improve upon our fleet, working towards environmentally friendly vehicles and reducing our carbon footprint.

Our community is important to us and therefore we believe we should be providing a beneficial impact upon it. We aim to promote local recruitment within our community. Our team regularly raise funds for and take part in the McMillan Mighty Hikes. In addition to this, we recognise the importance of local community groups and the positive impact they have, through our sponsorships of local youth groups.
